Enchanting Morroco, La Gazelle d’Or Hotel

Morocco has a very special place in my heart! Two years ago, during this time of October, I was strolling the streets of Marrakech impressed by what was my very first experience in an Arab country. It didn't take too long to fall in love with the cosmopolitan city. From the historic sites and buildings visited by thousand of curious tourists every day to the bustling bazaars and energetic nightlife, the city is a vast playground for all those who like to travel and experience.

Now that I am writing about it, a strong desire to visit this country again has taken over me. There are still many cities  that I would like to see: Tangier, Rabat and Casablanca are on my list. But enough with the nostalgia, let's enjoy this beautiful scenery and interior design.

In the southern part of Morocco lies the city of Taroudant, a remote market town that nestles one of the most exquisite hotels of this part of the country. Designed in sheer Moroccan style with French accents, the decor combines exotic elements with vintage accessories. A difficult mix to resist not to explore! It is known that the genuinely unique experience provided by this country's lands has been a magnet for the people in search of creativity and inspiration, from designers (Yves Saint Laurent) to artists and decorators.
Photographer Simon Watson has captured the charm of this place in an new article for T Magazine which you can read here.
