Tunga's Eclectic Brazilian Home

If I were ever to imagine an artist's house this is probably what it would look like: an amalgam of artistic objects, a mix of styles, clusters of intriguing objects everywhere, curious designs, piles of books, catalogs and magazines stuffed under eclectic pieces of furniture... a house that feels like a workshop or a workshop that feels like home.

Perhaps, this is why this Brazilian house, situated at the bottom of Mountin Pedra da Gávea, caught my attention. His owner, one of Brazil's most important ambassadors for plastic arts, who's been living there for 30 years, describes it as a place of experience, reflection and productivity. Tunga, who is also an architect, has even a name for his house - Pensatorium.
